To Leonid Afrmov Art Retreat
Escape to a private jungle retreat on 2.5 acres of land in the RIVIERA MAYA near Akumal! Join our 7-day art retreat and discover the joy of painting like the renowned artist Leonid Afremov.
No artistic experience is necessary – everyone aged 18 and above is welcome! Immerse yourself in the serene jungle surroundings as professional artists, who have studied with Leonid Afremov, guide you through the process.

Art Retreat Includes:
- 3 meals per day
- Beverages
- Airport or nearby town transportation
- 6 to 8 hours of daily painting in the tranquil jungles
- Create a minimum of 12 paintings, all yours to take home
- All necessary materials provided, working with oil paints and a palette knife
- Just bring comfortable clothes that can handle a bit of paint!

- 7 am – 3 pm: Airport or meeting point pick-up
- 4 pm – 5 pm: Welcome cocktail in the common area, meet and greet with the artists of Afremov Studio
- 5 pm – 7 pm: Settling in your rooms
- 7 pm – 8 pm: Dinner
- 8 pm – 9 pm: Screening of documentary about Leonid Afremov in the outdoor movie theater
Day 2
- 7 am – 9 am: Breakfast
- 9 am – 10 am: First painting presentation
- 10 am – 1 pm: Painting workshop
- 1 pm – 2 pm: Rest time
- 2 pm – 3 pm: Lunch
- 3 pm – 4 pm: Second painting presentation
- 4 pm – 6 pm: Second painting workshop
- 6 pm – 7 pm: Rest time
- 7 pm – 8 pm: Dinner
- 8 pm – 10 pm: Drinks and a paint-by-number competition
Day 3
- 7 am – 9 am: Breakfast
- 9 am – 9:20 am: Transport to Akumal Beach
- 9:20 am – 10 am: Painting presentation in Akumal beach
- 10 am – 12 pm: Workshop on the beach in Akumal
- 12 pm – 1:30 pm: Free time at the beach
- 1:30 pm – 2 pm: Return to retreat
- 2 pm – 3 pm: Lunch
- 3 pm – 4 pm: Rest time
- 4 pm – 5 pm: Fourth painting showcase
- 5 pm – 7 pm: Fourth painting workshop
- 7 pm – 8 pm: Dinner
- 8 pm – 10 pm: Movie screening in the jungle
Day 4
- 7 am – 9 am: Breakfast
- 9 am – 10 am: Fifth painting presentation
- 10 am – 12 pm: Painting workshop
- 12 pm – 1 pm: Rest time
- 1 pm – 2 pm: Lunch
- 2 pm – 3:30 pm: Transport to the studio of Leonid Afremov. Tour of his studio and house.
- 4 pm – 6 pm: Sixth painting presentation and a workshop near the Mayan pyramids
- 6 pm – 7 pm: Picnic dinner by the beach or eating out in a restaurant
- 7 pm – 9 pm: Walking tour of 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen
- 9:30 pm – 10 pm: Return to retreat
Day 5
- 7 am – 9 am: Breakfast
- 9 am – 10 am: Seventh painting presentation
- 10 am – 1 pm: Painting workshop
- 1 pm – 2 pm: Rest time
- 2 pm – 3 pm: Lunch
- 3 pm – 4 pm: Eighth painting presentation
- 4 pm – 7 pm: Painting workshop
- 7 pm – 8 pm: Rest time
- 8 pm – 10 pm: Hanging out by a bonfire with drinks, music, and BBQ dinner

- 8 pm – 10 pm: Game night of artistic games and competitions
